"Bending Time and Space"
Season 3
Episode 2
Featuring: Jay Jarabek
Special Guest Appearance: Angela Mabb

Cohosts Jeremy Grant-Skinner and Tara Whiteman-Fager bring listeners to a time and a place from their past; a return to their hometown of rural upstate New York. They are joined by Jay Jarabek- Fort Plain High’s 1990’s “newest” addition to the community; through synchronistic means, Jay arrives as a track coach and biology teacher. While waiting for the last member of The Trio to join them, the dynamic duo successfully convinces their guest to take a metaphorical jog up a certain number of stairs that leads to their beloved high school. While moving up the stairs, they reflect on their experiences with transgenerational trauma. In this space, they discuss the struggles of living and working in a small town that has such high incidence rates of transgenerational trauma. Later, they are joined by a special guest, and The Trio is now complete with scientist Angela Mabb. The former students and athletes of Jay cleverly turn the tables and give their retired mentor a pop quiz! Throughout the conversation, they express what an integral part Mr. Jarabek played in their formative years, especially growing up where resources were limited and time traveled very differently. In turn, Jay shares a never before told story about himself; and it isn’t just talk and tales of being tattooed! Want to hear for yourself what Now’s The Time Podcast guest Jay Jarabeck reveals? Well then, tune in and turn it up!
Don’t forget to participate in the pop quiz poll found on Spotify and their socials! Hint: It is in regards to the stairwell!
