In speech and words alone, Tara Whiteman-Fager is a gifted and talented healer. Her mind-body approach to self-care is palpable. Quickly, one will experience Tara's vast knowledge-base of trauma distilled into actionable and concise wisdom. As a healer, Tara employs an array of modalities -- some conventional, some artistic, but all impactful -- to promote health in everyone she encounters. Personally speaking, I loved her approach to tattooing. But don't worry! While she probably won't compel you to get a tattoo, she will likely encourage you to create a self-care practice that serves your best and highest good. Tattooing aside, I wish everyone to have the pleasure of hearing Tara speak. You will be changed by the opportunity.

When I read Tara’s posts about her own journey, she goes deep and speaks openly about her mistakes and at times of being lost. It is obvious that she is continually searching for her best self; applying self-care, acceptance and forgiveness. I relate to the stories of confusion and find inspiration to continue to work in order to fully appreciate myself, mistakes and all, be them of the past or in the present. Her writing inspires me to accept all of myself…something I didn’t feel encouraged to do as a kid and has had consequences in my adult life.
