Windansea: Thats Where Justin Will Be!
A Southern California native, Justin Wilson enlisted in the U.S. Navy at 17 and served 12 years. He graduated from SWCC Class 30 in 1999 and, in 2004, became one of the first SWCC to complete Selection and Training for Naval Special Warfare Development Group.
Justin began tattooing in 2003 while stationed in San Diego and quickly committed himself to the craft, tattooing throughout training trips and overseas deployments.
After completing his service, he moved to Los Angeles to study art, earning both a BFA and an MFA from Otis College of Art and Design.
Today, he inspires the next generation of body art practitioners as an instructor at his alma mater.
What's more! After tattooing internationally and earning awards in both the United States and abroad, Justin opened a private studio in San Diego. Located two blocks from the iconic Windansea Beach, the studio carries the name Windansea Tattoo.
